We are excited to welcome you to our vibrant and inclusive community of learners. At North Port High School AICE, we provide a supportive and challenging environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and lifelong learning.
Cambridge Brand Promise: Ready for the World
We want our students to be able to think critically,
to grow as an individual, and to achieve qualifications that are recognized worldwide, giving them an advantage in the fast-changing future world of work.
College Credit
All Florida public universities and community colleges award up to 45 hours of college credit for AICE/AP exams passed.
The Florida Department of Education has established credit course equivalencies for AICE, AP and IB programs. The Credit by Exam Equivalencies report, linked below, outlines the credit equivalencies that should be awarded for successful completion of these exams.
More than 600 U.S. universities outside of the state of Florida accept Cambridge International AS and A Levels and the Cambridge AICE Diploma, including Harvard, Yale, MIT and Stanford.
Bright Futures Scholarship
The Florida Academic Scholar award pays 100% of tuition and fees at a state school in Florida OR provides the equivalent dollars towards any private school located in Florida.
Students who achieve the AICE diploma do not need a high GPA or SAT/ACT score to qualify. They only need to complete 100 service hours and fill out the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA). All GPA and SAT requirements are waived.
